Agillence selects Cleo as key integration partner for TMS platform

Agillence, Inc., a leader in automotive supply chain optimization, and Cleo, the pioneer and global leader of the world’s Ecosystem Integration software category, today jointly announced that Cleo has been selected by Agillence to provide its ecosystem integration platform, Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC), as a preferred integration option for users of Agillence’s proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS) software solution.

Agillence TMS is comprised of Agillence Lean Logistics Optimizer (ALLO) & Agillence Logistics Management System (ALMS) and provides complete support for Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle for continuous improvement. Agillence TMS also has built-in crossdock management, which provides “real-time, end-to-end, part-level visibility and control” of OEMs and tier suppliers’ multi-tier crossdock networks.

Prior to Cleo, Agillence TMS handled EDI (electronic data integration) through several different VANs (value added networks). But on learning about Cleo’s capabilities from one of its OEM partners, Agillence quickly discovered Cleo could help its customers save time onboarding trading partners, save costs in comparison to VANs, while giving future data transformation options.

Srini Paruchuri, VP Customer Strategy and Solutions with Agillence, said, “Reliable communication is essential in a complex automotive supply chain. It helps to ensure coordination and collaboration among OEMs, suppliers, and logistics partners. This leads to reliable delivery times, reduced costs and enhanced overall performance. Once we learned how easily and quickly Cleo makes partner onboarding happen, and as soon as we saw Cleo’s elegant and intuitive user interface, the CIC Cockpit, we were sold. I now have every confidence Cleo will help us hit the minimum 99.5% uptime SLA our clients have come to expect.”

Cleo Integration Cloud is a cloud-based integration platform, purpose-built to design, build, operate and optimize critical ecosystem integration processes. CIC brings end-to-end integration visibility across API, EDI and non-EDI integrations that gives technical and business users the confidence to rapidly onboard trading partners, enable integration between applications, and accelerate revenue-generating business processes. On the platform, businesses have the choice of self-service, managed services, or a blended approach – ensuring complete flexibility and control over their B2B integration strategy.

“Cleo is honored to have been selected by Agillence as a preferred integration option for its highly respected TMS software solution,” said Mahesh Rajasekharan, CEO of Cleo. “We look forward to helping Agillence and its end-user community achieve greater visibility and control over their supply chain integration requirements through Cleo Integration Cloud.”
