Achilles named a leader in new Supply Chain Sustainability Software Green Quadrant report by independent research firm

Nov 13, 2024

Achilles Information Ltd (“Achilles”), the sustainable supply chain risk and performance management company, has been named a market leader for supply chain sustainability software by independent research and advisory firm, Verdantix, in its Green Quadrant: Supply Chain Sustainability Software 2024 report.

Achilles scored the maximum 3.0/3.0 for third-party risk management, thanks to its demonstrated ability to assess and validate suppliers’ ESG performance through on-site audits and natural language processors. Achilles also achieved maximum scores for supplier engagement, training and management, supplier success and user adoption.

When evaluating how firms can benefit from the Achilles solution, The Verdantix Green Quadrant: Supply Chain Sustainability Software 2024 report found that “Achilles’ assessments help customers build risk scenarios based on suppliers’ commitments to sustainability and their ability to de-risk themselves. This enables buyers to predict the future ESG performance of their supply chains and assign resources based on corporate ESG priorities.” The report also recognised Achilles’ in-house dedicated multilingual supplier support for its benefits in reducing supplier fatigue and fostering collaboration with buyers.

“Being named a Leader by Verdantix – and particularly being recognised for our third party risk management, supplier engagement and ESG capacity building – is validation of the work we do to help organizations to meet their supply chain sustainability objectives” said Mark Chamberlain, Chief Product Officer at Achilles. “With supply chain transparency and due diligence requirements increasing, we’re also helping organizations achieve the levels of assurance required to ensure high levels of reporting confidence.”

The Verdantix Green Quadrant: Supply Chain Sustainability Software 2024 report provides a detailed, fact-based comparison of the 15 most prominent supply chain sustainability software vendors in the market. The report finds that “corporations cannot meet their ESG and sustainability goals without untangling the intricacies of their supply chains. Ongoing scrutiny – from regulators, investors and customers – and higher exposure to environmental and geopolitical risks, has highlighted the need for sustainability, procurement, risk and operations teams to improve transparency and embed ESG considerations into supply chain decision-making. Supply chain sustainability software empowers corporates to address sustainability data challenges in the supply chain, identify exposure to risks and ensure collaboration with suppliers.”
