49,000-SF industrial park opens in Lehigh Valley

Jul 24, 2024

Green Knight Industrial Park – located in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania – just opened its first building, a 49,000-square-foot facility to meet the demand of small- to mid-sized manufacturers and industrial firms seeking to locate or expand in the region.

After previously being one of the largest tire dumps in Pennsylvania, the new industrial park will be leased by Trillion Sources, a distributor of building materials, for assembly and logistics operations. The company will use the warehouse for storage, order fulfillment, and other logistics services for e-commerce companies, creating over 20 new jobs in the region.

Two other buildings in the industrial park are planned – one of 192,000 square feet and one of 52,000 square feet. There is room for a total of six buildings in the 55-acre park.

Lehigh Valley’s GDP topped $50 billion in 2023 thanks to its manufacturing sector, which has an $8.1 billion annual output representing 16% of the $50.2 billion GDP. Nationally,

manufacturing represents just 12% of GDP. Notable companies include Mack Trucks, B. Braun, and Crayola.
