Oct 23, 2017
Alexandria, VA – The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), a leader of innovation in the airport community, today congratulated its long-time partner, Daon, for the role the company’s digital authentication technology will play in helping Visa consumers worldwide shop, pay, and bank seamlessly and securely. “For more than a decade, AAAE has partnered with Daon to drive innovation in the airport environment through the Transportation Security Clearinghouse and the initial Registered Traveler program, to the tremendous benefit of our airport members and their customers in the traveling public,” AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli said today. “The fact that Visa – a global leader in facilitating fast, secure, and reliable electronic payments for millions of consumers – has selected Daon to provide Visa ID Intelligence biometric authentication services further validates the company’s expertise in providing and enhancing security in both the private and public sectors.” Hauptli added, “AAAE continues to aggressively pursue innovative approaches to help our airport members successfully navigate the challenges, opportunities, and disruptions that emerge almost daily in today’s fast-changing world. We are committed to running at full-speed to better serve airports, and I am confident that we will continue to find great success thanks to the outstanding partnerships that we enjoy with great companies like Daon.” Visa ID Intelligence will allow clients to use biometrics such as eyes, face, fingerprint, and voice to create simpler authentication experiences to satisfy consumer needs for convenience, security, and speed.
